About Us

I’m Codelife, or Ross – You might know me from YouTube. Back in 2019 I started uploading videos on pro player settings. I just wanted to get better at Fortnite, so I looked into what the top players were using. What I found instantly helped me improve, so I shared it on YouTube hoping it would help others too.

Fast forward to today and not much has changed. I still enjoy breaking things down and sharing what I find. Whether it’s system optimizations, best game settings, or network tweaks – if I find it useful, I’ll probably make a video on it.

Why I Made This Site

I made OptimizeGuides.com because there wasn’t really a proper place for PC optimization guides. YouTube is great, but videos have limits. Not everyone wants to be walked through something by voice, so a written format just makes everything more accessible – whether that’s for reading, translating, or simply preference. In some cases, I can explain more here than I ever could in a video.

What You’ll Find Here

Everything from the best game settings and FPS boosts to full optimization guides on things like Windows, NVIDIA Control Panel, and more. If there’s a method that helps you squeeze out more frames or gain a slight edge, you’ll probably find it here. Over time, the goal is to turn this into the go-to hub for learning how to optimize your PC.

Community Contribution

Right now, it’s just me working on the site – but I’d love to get more people involved. If you’ve got a guide, tweak, or tip that others might find useful, feel free to send it in. Doesn’t matter if it’s a full tutorial or something simple like a setting change — if it helps, it belongs here.
